There has been a great deal of research on infertility, acupuncture & Chinese medicine. One study which focused on women undergoing IVF showed that three months minimum of acupuncture & Chinese herbal medicine prior to starting an IVF or IUI cycle increased the outcomes of live births were 73% higher in the group who underwent three months of regular acupuncture treatment before their egg retrieval and transfer.
